Deddy graduated from the faculty of law, University of Indonesia, Jakarta, Indonesia, and has obtained Master of Laws degree specializing in advanced intellectual property from the Faculty of Law, University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He has obtained an advocate license, has been registered as an intellectual property consultant in Indonesia, and has also attended the Tax Brevet A and B courses at the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia. He is a member of Indonesia Advocates Association (PERADI) and the Indonesian Intelectual Property Consultants Association (AKHKI).

Prior to joining our firm, he has worked at another leading corporate law firm in Jakarta for over 5 (five) years as a Corporate Lawyer, he was the first in the country who has introduced legally in relation to the practice of Creative Commons License in Indonesia. He is also active providing training and workshop to Small-Mid Scale Businesses (UKM) over the country to educate the business society in relation to the intellectual property law. He speaks both Indonesian and English.
