Although it is now led by Paramita, the firm was initially established in 2010 by Aga Khan and Narisqa. These three leading figures first met through their tenure at O.C. Kaligis & Associates. After which they continued their professional career paths individually. Eventually regrouping to jointly work alongside one another.

In its early years, the firm mostly focused on criminal litigation cases. Paramita joined in 2016 by adding in a corporate division. The firm formally reformed itself into Aga Khan & Paramita in 2017. In 2023, the firm renamed itself into “Paramita Law & Litigation” and rebranded itself into a more corporate-centered firm, while still maintaining the litigation department.
